Itinerary

1. Initial Meeting at Lisbon's Hard Rock Café at 7:15 AM.

2. Historic Center of Sintra
We stop to take photos of the exterior of the National Palace of Sintra, the sumptuous houses of Sintra, and the Moorish Castle. (duration – 20 min)

3. Valley of the Lakes at Pena Park
Photo stop to capture the stunning lake, its small castle, and the most spectacular view of the Pena Palace from the outside. (duration – 20 min)

4. Pena Palace
We visit the interior of the Palace with explanations about its construction, its interior and exterior architecture, as well as its historical and cultural context. (duration – 1h30)

5. Quinta da Regaleira
Built by a man affiliated with Freemasonry, this estate features an enchanting garden that serves as a Masonic metaphor with grottoes, initiation wells, labyrinths, Masonic temples, and tunnels. A truly UNIQUE experience! This is the only time during the day that the guide will not be physically present. However, all necessary explanations will be provided by the guide before the group enters. There is no parking within 1.5 km of the site, making it impossible to leave the van nearby. The group will be dropped off at the entrance and picked up at the end. (duration – 1h15)

6. Praia das Maçãs
Lunch at a local restaurant. (duration – 1h30)

7. Azenhas do Mar Viewpoint
Visit to the viewpoint overlooking the cliffs of Azenhas do Mar. (duration – 30 min)

8. Guincho Beach
Drive along the Portuguese coast to admire various beaches, including Guincho Beach.

9. Cabo da Roca
Visit to the westernmost point of mainland Europe, with its incredible cliffs and wild landscapes. (duration – 45 min)

10. Boca do Inferno (Hell’s Mouth)
Visit to this rock formation with an opening through which the waves crash violently, creating an incredible natural spectacle.

11. Cascais
Drive through the Bay of Cascais, the fortress, the Castro Guimarães Museum, and admire the hills of Cascais with their impressive houses (no stops).

12. Estoril Casino
Drive through the town of Estoril, home to the largest casino in Europe, as well as grand mansions and beautiful beaches (no stops).

13.⁠ Carcavelos Beach
Drive along the coastline, passing several iconic beaches, where you can often see surfers enjoying the waves.

Attention: Tickets for the 9:30 time slot to enter the Pena Palace are limited.

They will be assigned in the order in which the reservations were made. As for the tickets to both palaces, there is no need for concern—we purchase them for you in advance, and you will reimburse us on the day of the tour. However, please rest assured that if tickets for 9:30 are no longer available for you, the tour will still go ahead as planned, but the itinerary will be reversed. We will begin in Cascais and end in Sintra, visiting both palaces as well as all other locations included in the itinerary.
